Razer Blade 15 2018 Driver Download | Razer recently created a power game for the 15-inch gaming laptop market with the Razer Blade 15 2018 h2, which impressed with its sleek design and strong performance. But because of the price, all but the thick-pocketed gamers can’t have fun until now.
Starting at $1,599 (reviewed at $1,799), the latest iteration of the Blade features a beautiful and durable design that we expect to pair with an Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU. It was also one of the first Razer laptops to offer dual storage and Gigabit Ethernet. The new blade provides a master class in navigating the treacherous path between affordability and power.

Blade 15 is an ’80s setback in the best possible way. Tiny, tiny, rounded corners give the laptop a box shape that evokes memories of the rank-and-drop-style shoulder pads found on the old women’s tracksuit. Or maybe I have Huey Lewis and “Hip To Be Square” from The News that keeps repeating in my head. Either way, it’s got a funky retro style that I dug up.
Like all Blades, the majority of Blade 15 is made of midnight CNC aluminum. The lid (which has some suppleness visible in the middle) has the hallmarks of Razer’s distinctive three-headed snake that emits a seductive light. When I opened the lid, my eyes were glued to the Chroma keyboard, which, in a somewhat hidden place, looked like a group of stars shining in the darkness of space covering all that was a black aluminum chassis. To increase the keyboard brightness completely, speakers are installed on both sides of the alcove with the power button secretly located on the left speaker.

Blade 15.6-inch matte panels are very bright, allowing actress Zoe Renee’s cherry red leotard to appear on-screen during Jinn’s trailer. The details were sharp enough that I could see individual curls in the girl’s magenta-lilac locks.
The 60-Hertz screen had no problem providing sharp graphics when I played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I fired a column of orange flames at the bandits who came, causing him to fall to the ground, writhing in pain. I stabbed him with my sword and took the time to admire the sheen of Geralt’s pale white hair before moving on to my next enemy.
Based on our tests, the Blade 15 screen can reproduce 156 percent of the sRGB color gamut. This easily exceeds the average of major gaming laptops by 110 percent as well as 120 percent Hero II. The M15 and Stealth Thin are tied at 150 percent.

Don’t let a pair of speakers mounted on top fool you – Blade 15 becomes loud enough but still relatively accurate. Listening to Pentatonix’s “Can’t Sleep Love”, I can hear every part of the harmony of five people at maximum volume. Sound managed to cover our entire medium size test lab, thanks to a considerable upgrade of Dolby Atmos software. Of the six settings available (Movies, Dynamic, Music, Games, Sound, and Personalization), I found that Dynamic and Music deliver the most enjoyable results.
Hot in the trail of a bully witch during Witcher 3, I stepped confidently through the woods. The trees are beating fast due to the coming storm, and the sound of strong winds fills the lab as the flute is played gently in the background. However, no setting can improve the bass. There were a few clues when I listened to Elephant Man’s “Pon De River Pon Da Bank,” but it wasn’t enough to make a difference.
Razer Blade 15 2018 Keyboard and Touchpad
Razer’s Chroma keyboards are always interesting to look at – I just hope they’re a little more convenient for typing. Apart from its 65-gram actuation, the ultralow travel key is consistently at the bottom, as its short mileage is 1.2 millimeters (1.5mm is the minimum we receive). Chiclet-style buttons don’t have significant pop.
At 5 x 3 inches, the Blade 15 touchpad is massive. Unlike the no-production Blade 14, the 15-inch model has ditched a separate mouse button instead of a large pad. Windows 10 gestures such as pinch-zoom and three-finger swipe work fine. It’s even easy to call the Action Center. The lower corner of the touchpad is fairly easy to click for the right and left mouse buttons.
Armed with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU with 6GB VRAM, Blade 15 has no problem getting a solid frame rate even on the most demanding titles at higher settings. During my Witcher 3 game, I attacked a group of bandits on horseback, attacking one of the criminals. His arms flew at a beautiful speed of 59 frames per second on the Ultra in 1920 x 1080. The setting jumped to 65 fps as I lowered the setting to High.
